BJP hoist tricolour at Kathua in Jammu
UPA government in center and Omar Abdullah managed to prevent the flag hoisting by BJP at Lal Chawk in Srinagar but the leaders of Bhartiya Janta Party unfurled the tricolour at Kathua in Jammu. Ekta Yatra by youth wing of BJP came to and end on Wednesday when senior leaders from BJP Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley, Ananth Kumar, Shanta Kumar and Anurag Thakur were released from the arrest along with over 200 party workers.
Lt Gen Rath found guilty
NEW DELHI: Lieutenant General P K Rath,former Deputy Chief of Army Staff-designate, was found guilty by an Army court martial on Friday in the Sukhna land scam. He found guilty on three counts- issuing No Objection Certificates, signing MoU with the builder and not informing command headquarter.
IAF inducts indigenous LCA Tejas
In the latest development in the theree decades old programme to develop indigenous Light Combat Airfcraft “Tejas”, it cleared the initial operation clearance status (IOC) here in Bangalore today. By doing so India joined the elite club of countries having their own Fighter Aircrafts developed from scratch indigenously.
