DMK backs Raja after arrest in 2G scam

A.Raja was arrested by Central bureau of Investigation in relation with the 2G spectrum allocation scam when he was Telecom minister in UPA government. Despite of his arrest on charges as serious as criminal conspiracy, the DMK is standing by him and thinks that he is innocent. Party strongly believed that the arrest doesn’t prove him of guilt in charges against him in the 2G scam.

Nakamura tops at Wijk aan Zee

Hikaru Nakamura of the United States got the faintest lead against the wold champion Vishwanathan Anand of India in the Round 11 of the 73rd edition of the Tata Steel Chess a regular event at Wijk-aan-Zee that proved a tournament winner for him. He was half a point ahead in the tournament after that and was leading the table and needed only a draw in the last round with white while Anand needed a win from last round with black pieces to win the tournament.

CBI registers FIR in Adarsh Society case

After 10 weeks of time finally CBI launched preliminary investigations into the Adarsh Co-operative Housing Society scam in Mumbai today on 29th January Saturday. The CBI registered a formal complaint into this high profile case involving Ministers of Government of Maharashtra and defense personals.
