DMK backs Raja after arrest in 2G scam

A.Raja was arrested by Central bureau of Investigation in relation with the 2G spectrum allocation scam when he was Telecom minister in UPA government. Despite of his arrest on charges as serious as criminal conspiracy, the DMK is standing by him and thinks that he is innocent. Party strongly believed that the arrest doesn’t prove him of guilt in charges against him in the 2G scam.

Unrest in Egypt, protests continue

President of Egypt, Hosni Mubarak, is facing more problems now as the protests continue by youth in Egypt on the fifth day of the unrest. Saturday was no different for the Mubarak as he tried to save his 30 year old government by firing his own cabinet of ministers and forcing marshal law on state. Army was called out by him, a step criticized by many, actually backfired on him as the army troops and demonstrators fraternized and called for the president to leave his post.

BJP hoist tricolour at Kathua in Jammu

UPA government in center and Omar Abdullah managed to prevent the flag hoisting by BJP at Lal Chawk in Srinagar but the leaders of Bhartiya Janta Party unfurled the tricolour at Kathua in Jammu. Ekta Yatra by youth wing of BJP came to and end on Wednesday when senior leaders from BJP Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley, Ananth Kumar, Shanta Kumar and Anurag Thakur were released from the arrest along with over 200 party workers.
